Sharon has more than 19 years experience as a journalist and writer and can help you create the perfect ceremony for a memorable day. Sharon completed her civil celebrant training at the Gordon Institute of TAFE in 2004. She was appointed by the Attorney General in 2005, fulfilling a life-long ambition to become a civil celebrant. Sharon has completed a public speaking course and provides a portable public address system to ensure all your guests enjoy every moment of your special ceremony. Sharon is friendly and approachable and willing to spend as long as it takes to create a personal, meaningful and individual ceremony whether you are celebrating your marriage, the naming of your child, or remembering an important person in your life. Sharon is more than happy to meet to discuss your ceremony and can help with the creation of the celebration, including providing readings, wedding vows, suggesting music and venues. Sharon has performed weddings at a range of venues, including the National Gallery of Victoria, the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Royal Botanic Gardens, beachside in Perth and private gardens. Although Sharon lives in Hawthorn East, she is happy to travel across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula to perform wedding, naming or funeral ceremonies.
